The 9# unit of the Juhua Thermal Power Plant, as a 135MW unit, had a flue gas temperature as high as 135°C before energy-saving modifications. To further improve energy utilization efficiency and reduce operating costs, the plant implemented a waste heat recovery system energy-saving retrofit. After the renovation, the results were remarkable, with the flue gas temperature successfully reduced to 95°C. This transformation not only achieved efficient energy utilization but also saved 5,428 tons of standard coal annually, greatly enhancing the plant's economic benefits. At the same time, significant achievements were made in water conservation, with 128,000 tons of desulfurization water saved every year, effectively alleviating water resource waste and supporting the plant's green and sustainable development.
